About the Author
Tammy P. Johnson
Tammy P. Johnson is the author of The Magical Stream, a children’s story inspired by her niece, Addisyn. Addi’s positive spirit, loving nature, and kindness toward others helped Tammy create a young heroine whose greatest power is compassion.
Tammy’s love of imagination was encouraged years ago by her English teacher, Nancy Jennings, whose support remained with her long after she left the classroom. With encouragement from her family and friends, Tammy transformed that imagination into a magical story about courage, acceptance, friendship, and using one’s gifts to help others.
She is especially grateful for the support of her son, Trevor Van Hoesen; her mother, Thelma Van Hoesen; and her husband, David Johnson. Through Addi’s adventures, Tammy hopes to remind young readers that kindness can be powerful and that even a small act of understanding can change someone’s life.
